April is National Poetry Month in the U.S. and Canada. We've set out a nice little display on Info Island in the Special Display Room inthe AVL-West building with information on poetry in general, resources for those who teach poetry, the poetry of China, India and Japan, cowboy poetry and some goodies you can take with you in SL. We also have a landmark to an interesting game in Second Life called "15 Seconds of Poetry." So come on down to Info Island and take a look.

Also thanks to Janette Courier of Rachelville for the multi-volume set of pre-1924 children's poems on notecards. Janette Courier (who works with me in SL) is one of those unsung heroes of AVL and I'm happy to have an opportunity to thank her publicly for all that she does.
